If you’ve ever questioned the impact of technology on education or learning in a school environment, look no further. In the above video learn how Intermediate School 339 in the Bronx used grant money from the NYC Department of Education to purchase laptops and integrate Google apps into lesson plans.

While teachers admit students get distracted and spend some time on social media sites, but the results 3 years later shows that the overall impact is positive and outweighs some of the drawbacks. I have to agree with Principal Jason Levy who says that, “Technology is like oxygen.” It breathed new life into this school.
